The Gigaset N720 IP-DECT system is a multi-cell compatible SIP standard and designed to ensure maximum coverage and voice quality for users with a DECT handset.
The N720 system consists of two parts: the DECT Manager, who presides the administration of the multicell system, and the Base Station, which are part of the radio system. In order for the system to work, at least a DECT Manager and a Base Station are required as well as the presence of at least one DECT Base Station Manager for the optimal operation of the system.
The DECT Manager manages up to 100 users - SIP account - registered handsets, up to 20 base stations and 30 conversations in parallel. It is possible to feed the DECT Manager via PoE, or possibly using the power supply (sold separately).
Thanks to the N720 you can create a coverage in order to have DECT roaming and handover in conversations, without interruptions during the call.
The system N720 is compatible with a wide range of Gigaset handsets of the latest generation, and, to ensure even further advanced features such as audio calls in HD (with codec G.722) and email reader directly on the phone (only cordless phones equipped with such functionality).
